Wiring diagram of neural circuits across the whole brain
Building upon the whole-brain mesoscale 3D imaging microscopy (VISoR) developed by our collaborators, we jointly pursue the ambitious goal of reconstructing mesoscale primate connectomes. My lab specifically focuses on developing the computational pipelines for this project, creating novel solutions for isotropic resolution enhancement, 3D stitching of the imaged slices, brain parcellation, and single neuron morphorlogical reconstruction, etc.
